We are constantly reviewing and developing the training we offer to our clients and have recently refreshed and updated our popular half day Effective Performance Management training course.

The majority of teaching and support staff appraisals will need to be conducted over the next few months and this course, which has been designed to support new managers or to provide a refresher to managers who have conducted staff appraisals and set performance objectives previously, covers:-

  • The process to be followed
  • How to ensure SMART objectives are set
  • Dealing with poor performance
  • Coaching tools to assist you
  • Managing the annual performance review
  • Applying your pay policy (teachers)

In addition, Ofsted have indicated that although various changes are being made to the school inspection system from September 2015 that they will still require:

“Information about the schools’ Performance Management arrangements, including the most recent Performance Management outcomes and their relationship to salary in an anonymised format”
