Capita defined contribution Master Trust gains Pension Quality Mark READY standard
Atlas is a multi-employer plan offering a complete end-to-end workplace pension solution, from contribution collection and ongoing investment through to permitting the full flexibilities afforded by the recent Freedom and Choices reforms at retirement.
The PQM READY is an award which can be achieved by good quality Master Trusts. In order to receive accreditation, schemes are independently and rigorously assessed in the areas of governance, charges and communications.
Julian Mund, executive director, Pension Quality Mark, said: “We congratulate Atlas in gaining this independent accreditation which endorses its commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards and best practices. The award cuts through the complexities of the pensions landscape and gives a clear message that a Master Trust has been assessed and is of good quality against our standards.”
Susan Ring, chief executive of Capita Employee Benefits, said: “PQM READY is an independent standard that recognises good quality defined contribution pensions. Atlas has been designed to ensure the pension plan delivers the best possible value for members. It provides employers with real peace of mind that the product is built upon Capita’s breadth of expertise and scale of administration experience.”
The Pension Quality Mark was set up in 2009 and is wholly owned by the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (formerly the National Association of Pension Funds).
