Capita success at the Pensions Age Awards 2016

26 February 2016

Last night was the third Pensions Age Awards hosted at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London. The awards look to recognise pension consultancies, providers and schemes throughout the UK for noteworthy achievements.

We’re delighted to report that we won the Pensions Communications Award! The win is testament to how we’ve applied data science to develop greater insights into member behaviour and propensities, which is a core element of our strategic communications and engagement consultancy. Furthermore, our online portal, Orbit, allows our clients to manage and communicate pensions and benefits online, facilitating the channel shift in member interaction.

Susan Ring, chief executive, commented on the win:

The award is further evidence of the quality of work from Louise Harris and the Creative Sparks team. It demonstrates that what we are doing works and is being recognised by our industry peers, showing that we can compete with anyone in the industry. Well done to the Capita Marketing team for the award submission. A big thank you to Pensions Age for hosting an excellent event!

In addition to our own success, we would like to give special mention to Royal Mail for winning the Pensions Administration Award. Capita’s specialist in-house software, PS Pensions, is used to run Royal Mail’s pension scheme.

We will also be keeping our fingers crossed for more success at the UK Pension Awards in May where we have been nominated for seven awards in the following categories:

  • Actuarial / Pensions Consultancy of the Year
  • Employee Benefits Consultancy of the Year
  • DC Consultancy of the Year
  • DC Master Trust of the Year
  • Third-Party Administrator of the Year
  • Technology Innovation of the Year
  • Communication Innovation of the Year
